Permanent Makeup Eyeliner

t_52745301_1Is eyeliner important to your appearance and feeling of self confidence? Does your eyeliner smudge? Does it wear off during the day? Do you have trouble getting it straight or even? Are you allergic to cosmetic products or your allergies causing you to re-apply several times a day? Maybe your job requires that you go make-up free. If so then  Permanent makeup eyeliner procedures, also known as permanent cosmetics, permanent makeup, cosmetic tattooing, and micropigmentation may be perfect for you.

Permanent makeup eyeliner can be applied in many styles and colors, from soft, natural-looking lash enhancement to a defined line–the choice is yours!  Some people feel both upper and lower eyeliner suits their needs best, while others feel only an upper or a lower eyeliner is appropriate for them.

Whatever look you choose, you will wake up, shower, exercise, work, swim, and go to bed always looking your best. No more tattle tale eyeliner smear or smudge during the day, no more concern when participating in sports activities and best, your appearance remains consistently fresh appearing throughout the day and night.

What can I expect when healing:

Each individual may heal differently and healing time may vary.  Remember that permanent makeup is made to enhance your features, not to replace makeup.  In each procedure the appearance of your pigment will be much darker than the final results.  I suggest waiting at least 30 days for full healing before any touch-ups.

For Your Appointment:

Bring your glasses if you wear contacts.

After care:  Keep eyeliner moist with A&D for 4 to 5 days.  Do not use Neosporin or peroxide on the eyeliner.  Stay out of the sun and avoid chlorine and salt water for the first week.  No excessive sweating for one week.  Do not use mascara for five days.

Day 1-2  Liner will appear thicker, darker, and swollen (ice may be used to reduce swelling).

Day 3-4  Pigment begins to lift away with a tight feeling.  Some itching is normal – do not pick at any part of the area.

Day 5  The color enhances to final results.
